The only requirement for membership in AA is a desire to stop drinking. For me going to meetings and not drinking one day or one minute at time helped a lot. Every time I drank I got drunk so I crawled into AA and had the gift of desperation. I was willing to do anything. Good luck Don’t drink and go to meetings

That’s awesome Barry.I am working on my fourth step,although it has taken me a long time to get to this step.I realize there is no easier softer way to recover.
