Hi Joanne,
Excellent! Just tell me the days/times you’re available to lead meetings and we’ll get some new meetings started for you. Or, if you’d like, you can take over one of the meetings at 7:30PM Eastern Time on Mondays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays.

Therapists are great (I also see one) but they’re not AA. Try an online meeting here to get comfortable. Then find a meeting local to you. I think you’ll find that AA is exactly what you’re seeking.

This group is for men only, please. It is important in recovery that people work with others in the same sex. This group forum and discussion should be just that – a place for men in recovery to fellowship with other men in recovery.

Hi!!! I know exactly how extended relapses go. I am a man, so cannot give you any advice as it relates to your relationships, but I highly encourage you to find some women in recovery that you can latch on to and work the steps with.
Are there any AA meeting near you that you can go to? Have you tried one of the online meeting here?

I know it sounds dumb but try and do something outside that you can get your mind off of it I try to play sports or do some yard work when I am not working and thinking about drinking .
Don’t Drink, Go to Meetings, Read the Book and Take he Steps. You will be alright.
