Great topic; I have to let my past go and be present. I want to be loving and helpful too my family. I was a slave too the substances referring to alcohol and grass and unable to cope w every day life. The past was numbness : now I feel and it’s hard . Just plain hard. Not used to uncomfortableness, discontentment, irritability, restle…[Read more]

So many yets; so many lies. I’m the best at denial. I’d numb my feelings all day. I can’t believe I put back to back days of sobriety!! Wow!! Why or How?
Al said , “another man is tucking my kids in bed”. It’s the sentence I can’t comprehend. I don’t want that to happen

I want to hold onto my seat number one and keep being teachable. I want to remember to be vigilant regarding my sobriety and recognizing feeling happy in new recovery. Today is what my focus should be on not yesterday’s : No rear view window

It is no joke. I am at a fork in the road. I can either choose my family or drugs and alcohol. I don’t want to lose my family so I need to hold a seat in the program/ do the work/ my wife says actions speak louder than words. I need to stay sober for myself foremost. Me… My sobriety has to be number one
