For twenty five years I wasn’t properly medicated for my bipolar. Alcohol was my quick fix for the symptoms. I was in and out of therapists and shrinks all those years. But I couldn’t let any of the medication work because of my binge drinking. I would be hypomanic too and gun ho about getting help but then I would come crashing down. It wasn…[Read more]

Hi everyone. Im shannon and I am an alcoholic. I have been diagnosed with ptsd due to a previous relationship and am now being treated finally . I believe I must deal with the ptsd in order to be living sober. I have been drinking for 30 years and am now recovering . I am so glad to be here. Today is my sober day 1. Thanks for reading.
