Women in Recovery 8 years, 9 months agoHi, I’m Jill and I am an alcoholic. Today is day 11 sober. I have stopped drinking before, for up to 6 months, but never before admitted to alcoholism. Now that I have, I pray for the strength to move forward every day, sober.

Hi Jamie – today is day 11 for me. I will be truthful and tell you, it is not easy. I have stopped before, for up to 6 months. But it is a very tricky disease, it lured me back, many times. Alcohol Recovery Group 8 years, 9 months agoGood morning all, I don’t know about you, but this holiday weekend is sure to be a tough one to get through. Watching everyone else drinking is not going to be easy. Once again I thank God for another sober day and put myself in His hands to give me the strength to be the person I can be. Sober. how long have you been sober? I just want to feel good about myself and be a better mom and wife..drinking is so bad for me..im ready to change my life..i am only on day 1 but I had an awakening..hope to make friends that can possibly relate/help me through this..
