Hi my name is Melinda.  I also am a alcohol.  Life long. I relate to all that you are saying.  I feel as if alcohol is my second arm.  Have you taken any steps towards recovery?

I am 48 yrs old I have been a alcoholic all my life.  I don’t know how to live any other way.  I have severe depression and I have been on meds for this all my life as well. I hide in my own little world unless I drink then I  become very social. I feel as I have missed my entire life due to alcohol.  How do I begin to get help?
