Dual Diagnosis 8 years, 3 months agoFor twenty five years I wasn’t properly medicated for my bipolar. Alcohol was my quick fix for the symptoms. I was in and out of therapists and shrinks all those years. But I couldn’t let any of the medication work because of my binge drinking. Dual Diagnosis 8 years, 4 months agoHey everyone I’m Maude and I’m an alcoholic. I’m excited about this forum. I have bipolar 2 and complex ptsd. I was basically untreated for twenty five years. Wow. I never knew about CPTSD. Amazing. I relate to it. I too was diagnosed borderline although that was later replaced with bipolar 1. Mental health roulette I guess.
