For twenty five years I wasn’t properly medicated for my bipolar. Alcohol was my quick fix for the symptoms. I was in and out of therapists and shrinks all those years. Hey everyone I’m Maude and I’m an alcoholic. I’m excited about this forum. I have bipolar 2 and complex ptsd. I was basically untreated for twenty five years. I’ve been doing alot of research on codependency. What I’m figuring out sober is that I was drinking so many codependent behaviors away. Or I was attempting to. Now sober I realize this is something I need to face in order to stay sober.
