Narcotics Recovery Group 8 years, 8 months agoI think I know what you mean I used to have the similar problem. Idle time usually lead me to use or drink. Now even though I am bored I some how stay sober. Thank you for the update I would like to talk more.

Hi I am Clyde an addict. I have the same problem and of course I also need a ride to go. Due to not having a license from the fall out of my addiction. So I joined this and other online groups. My day has been depressing just feeling down I guess. I should be in a local AA meeting but didn’t have a ride. So how are you doing?

Not much I was supposed to be at a local AA meeting but didn’t have a ride. Plus I think depression is trying to set in or issues with medication. I got a temporary sponsor his name is Steve. He seems to be a nice guy and caring.

Narcotics Recovery Group 8 years, 9 months agoHi my name is Clyde I am a addict. I just graduated from 28 day rehab program and I need and want to have a support system set up. Because I know how easy it is to get caught back up in drugs. Been there and done that and it’s time for a change. Thanks!

Hi my name is Clyde and I am an alcoholic. I have been so for so long that I can’t even know where the time went. I have lost a military career and a DOD job and a lot more. I was given a chance to rehab and I took it. I just graduated last Wednesday.

congrats on entering the sober phase of your existence. it gets a whole lot better from here on out! no need to regret the past, it is what led you to recovery.
